Town & Villages of Iraklia

Ferries call at Agios Georgios, a traditional settlement built in amphitheatric fashion around the port of Iraklia. An asphalted, 4.5km road links the port with Chora or Panagia, a traditional settlement at the foot of Mt. Pappas, and 2km from the beach of Tourkopigado, while Agios Athanassios, an old village offers breathtaking views and a peek into how homes were built decades ago with several old stone houses built according to the traditional Cycladic architectural style.

Agios Georgios

Agios Georgios is a traditional settlement built in amphitheatric fashion around the port of Iraklia and where most of the tourist businesses are located, rooms to let, restaurants and two or three bars.

Panagia

Panagia is a traditional village situated at the foot of Papas hill, 4.5km from the port of Agios Georgios.
