Naxos emerges as a major protagonist in this year’s Readers’ Choice Awards of the British Conde Nast Traveller, having been voted the best island in Europe by the magazine’s readership. The Readers’ Choice Awards are among the most important global institutions for promoting tourism, running for decades and conducted by the leading travel publication Conde Nast Traveller.
For this year’s 28th annual audience awards, thousands of travellers and readers of the British outlet cast their votes, following a process designed with transparency and credibility. Specifically, Naxos claimed first place by achieving the highest score—very close to perfect—95.71/100, standing out among popular destinations from Spain, Portugal, Italy, Greece, Cyprus, and Malta.
