The religious feast of Agios Nikolaos (St. Nicholas)

The chapel of Agios Nikolaos at Faros celebrates annually on December 6. Pilgrims and visitors are treated to the traditional dish of fried cod with garlic sauce in the chapel courtyard.

Directions for access The chapel is accessible either from the sea, by local boats that leave from the port, or on foot –a 20-minute pleasant walk on a path that starts from the port.
