A century ago, Grandpa George was a cook in a Greek restaurant in Chicago. Standing out very quickly, people from all over America were going to taste his delicious creations.
After 35 years, his dream came true and he created this tavern, where we –the grandchildren- continue the tradition for 3 generations after our grandfather, our mother Poppy. We use only traditional fresh ingredients, olive oil, organic vegetables from our field, wine from our vineyard, and local meats and cheeses.
Our menu includes a variety of grilled meat, fresh fish and sea food or plates of the day (mousaka is not to be missed) satisfying all tastes and preferences.
We prepare everything with great love and consistency, with the old traditional recipes we have inherited.
