It’s the weekend before Christmas and Naxos’ Union of Agricultural Cooperatives has opened “Santa’s Secret Cheese Factory” in downtown Chora, Naxos! Enjoy lots of sweet and savory delights and products of Naxos! Experience Naxos by taste … during the holidays too!
Santa’s helpers in the cheese factory will be making ornaments out of Naxos’ cheese gruyere, known as graviera. At the end of the event the Union of Agricultural Cooperatives will match the weight cheese decorations made and will be donating that amount graviera to local charities. There will also be cheese-making demonstrations for all to enjoy.
