Filoti – Kid with runner beans


  • 2 kg kid
  • 1 kg runner beans
  • 1 cup olive oil
  • 1 onion, chopped finely
  • 4 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 2 tbsp of tomatoes paste
  • 2 glasses of water
  • salt and pepper


Coarsely cut the meat into pieces and brown it well in a deep saucepan with the olive oil and onion. Add the garlic, the tomato paste thinned in a little water and the salt and pepper. Boil on a low heat for 15 minutes. Add the runner beans (strings removed) and let it cook for 20 more minutes.
