• 1kg honey
  • 1 kg sesame seeds (approx.)
  • lemon leaves for serving



Heat the honey in a pan and add the sesame seeds little by little while stirring with a wooden spoon till the mixture becomes thick but not hard. Pour the mixture onto a wooden or marble surface brushed with sweet wine or ouzo. With hands wet with wine or ouzo, spread out the mixture evenly and let it dry. Cut into small, diamond-shaped pieces and lay them out on lemon leaves.
