The Naxos Wine Feast offers visitors a great opportunity to try Naxos’ local wine, accompanied by delicious assorted small dishes (meze or mezedes in plural), mostly fish and seafood, all topped off by dancing to live music performed by local artists.
The event includes the foot pressing of grapes at a traditional wine press, as well as a speech on local vineyards so that, besides wine tasting, visitors may be informed about the unique qualities of Naxos wine.
